  It looks so tidy with the aluminium. What’s the weight difference?

  Don’t know really. But it is lighter. The best things about the aluminum is that the sail bundle gets smaller and that sheetlets and lazy jacks doesn’t snag on the unevenness of the bamboo. It is also much easier to stretch the sail along the battens.
