The new halyard winch from above…

    … and from below.

    What country?

And an image on our flag. Shame on us! We didn’t take it down all winter, now the Swedish flag looks like a Finnish one with no yellow. We actually bought a new one after this, so all you royalists out there can sit down again.

    • Matti, are we going to get any word on your summer sailing?

    • What would YOU change in building another of MacNaughton’s 36′ Coin Series sailboats if you were to do it all over again? (I’m in the process of building a Farthing 15′ is why I’m interested in what you might say.)

      Best Regards,
      Eric Crossen

    • Hi Stuart,
You are right. I should really write something about it. I will try! Soon!

    • I look forward to reading it.

How large is the engine room on this boat?

What sort of engine do you use?

    • Hi Adam.
We use an MD 2020, Volvo Penta engine, 17-18 hp. We have a 3-bladed Kiwi-prop that I think is slightly too small, so we might change the blades to get some more bite.

    • Ah, I just saw that you asked about the engine room as well. The engine is situated under the sole in the steering station. So there is plenty of room. But we are going to modify it a bit to make it a bit easier to reach everything.
