Some picture progress

Today I snapped some pictures of the progress.

Bow rollers and sailBow roller and sail.

We haven’t adjusted the lazy jacks yet, so the yard and sail bundle has a little drooping angle. Notice the new thick bamboo. We put it only on one side of the sail, used no keep battens. Let’s see how that works out.

Tomorrow we are aiming for a trial sail. A bit nervous about that.

Looks fantastic with the new battens. The old thinner battens made the bundle look like ragdraped driftwood compared to this.
If you have the possibility can you please take a picture from inside the station looking out onto deck. Just curious what kind of view you get from there.
Our sailing trip can not come early enough.
Oh, please save a small piece of bamboo for me it makes for great tools in my work.

View is great. I’ll try to catch it tomorrow.
What kind of tools do you make? Spatulas? I’ll fetch something smaller than the bazookas, no?

Yeah they’re like spatulas. I just need some decently sized splinters. Thanks
