Bamboo seems to be a cheap way to get good junk rig battens, if it wasn't for the shipping! I have a Swedish connection that imports a container from China about once a year. So I will bring some with her next shipment, if the bamboo from Germany is shown to be inferior. /m Thanks Gary.

I'm building a 24' 6" yacht which I have decided to convert to junk rig. Having lots of fun learning how find the mast position etc. You have beautiful boat there by the way.
